One of my favorite things to paint is the figure. I enjoy the challenge of getting a likeness and bringing the painting to life. These paintings were done at the Art Center of Northern NJ where models pose for me. I prefer to paint from life, this way one captures a personality and an essence that one would not get from a photograph.  The paintings Heidi and Bobbie were painted in Acrylic in pentimento.
